Drone Surveys
CAA Approved
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s) enable us to undertake high level inspections of chimneys, roofs and other hard to reach areas.
Some areas of roofs may be completely inaccessible by traditional access methods. Fragile roofs and ageing asbestos containing materials present a serious health and safety risk. By utilising a drone survey, detailed photographic data can be obtained of the roof and high-level elements of a building without the risk of fall or disturbing and releasing asbestos.
With our equipment and licensed pilot, inspections of structures such as roofs and chimneys no longer require expensive scaffolding or mechanical lifters. After our pre-planning and flight assessment, we will be able to provide you with a detailed report including high resolution images.
Many firms can film and photograph from drones but those images would still require review by an RICS surveyor to be reliable for the purposes of a survey. The advantage we have is that it is our surveyor who pilots the drone and therefore has the knowledge to strategically target areas of concern on a building.
We offer drone services throughout Wiltshire, Somerset and Gloucestershire.

Where necessary we will undertake the initial ground flight assessment, obtain the required aviation permissions, and conduct the flight in accordance with the CAA regulations, thus confirming that the project is undertaken in a safe and legal manner.
