Wyvern Surveyors undertake residential survey and valuation work throughout Wiltshire, Somerset and Gloucestershire. We are regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and specialise in RICS Level 1, 2 and 3 Home Surveys, formally known as Home Condition Reports, Homebuyers Reports and Building Surveys.
We also offer a wide range of pathology and valuation services, including specific defects surveys, drone surveys and insurance reinstatement valuations. We are proud to be an independent firm. We had a full structural survey carried out on the house we intend to purchase and were very impressed . The report was very detailed, with some really good expert advice , not only on the condition of the property but also tips on future maintenance of the house. Having taken the initiative of avoiding the estate agents recommended surveyor and choosing Wyvern as my professional alternative, I rested the future of my life savings in their services.
They were very quick to fit me in, offering me a cancellation and were swift in providing a "copy and paste" survey report from a house that only bore some similarities to what I actually purchased.
Having now completed on the purchase I look back through the report to some humorous reading. I'll be honest, I'm not talking about the generic survey reports that detail "it MAY need this," "I could only conduct this due to furniture," "you MIGHT want to budget for..." etc. I'm talking about the fine details of "you're internal stop cock is located below the kitchen sink, and the external stop cock is in the pavement outside." Ok... let's be clear, the is NO stop cock below the sink, and there is NO pavement outside! Oh, should I mention the gaping holes in the roof between the property and the neighbours that wasn't picked up on?

I am very impressed with the overall service from my initial telephone call through to completion of survey and further advice direct from Steve and I thoroughly recommend this company.
