Unquestionably a first class service on the Level 3 survey arranged. The written report was very comprehensive and run to 79 pages, very detailed indeed. If I could be slightly critical, I would suggest the surveyor follows up automatically with a call to discuss the various outcomes, especially where Cat 3 Reds are flagged as we’re not surveyors so don’t know that this can be normal for an old property. Certain issues I hear are later ticked off and confirmed by the conveyancing solicitor (GasSafe etc). Our inherent nature as humans is to see RED and see caution. In this case we pulled out of the purchase as it was felt too much risk on top of the stress already incurred with selling and buying. It would be worth that phone call from surveyor, and possibly commission relevant trades, before making hasty decisions. Would definitely use Wyvern Surveyors again though.

Very low quality product. I paid almost 2000 pounds for the "highest tier’" of survey (there are three tiers), and i would say the report we received was about half-done, and thats me being generous. The areas we were really interested in getting an assessment of (roofing, drainage and structural integrity) were largely ignored because it was “not convenient” for the surveyor to assess or access them during his site visit. There was even a statement saying he didn't inspect the drainage channel because - and this is a direct quote - "the hatch was too heavy" 🙂 There was also a statement justifying how he also didn't inspect the flat roof area as “it had been raining and was slippery underfoot”. I am over 50 years old and have purchased five houses in my life - this will be the sixth - and I genuinely laughed out loud when i read this report. No doubt the response to this scathing review will be that there were legitimate reasons for the limitation of the report, but in all honesty, if you are Wyvern, you really just need to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask yourself whether you really provide the service you are charging people for to a standard that justifies your existence. I doubt they will be honest with themselves, but that is modern capitalism I guess.

Wyvern Surveyors were excellent value for money. Their customer service, in particular Natasha, was incredibly helpful and quick in response. They even checked that I had selected the right option, as opposed to a cheaper service, when I asked for my quote, and never tried to upsell me. I highly recommend them if you’re buying in an area they cover.

I had a very positive experience with this survey agency. The service was good, and the staff were approachable and professional throughout the process. The survey was completed fairly quickly, and communication was effective from start to finish. I was particularly impressed by how supportive and reassuring they were when I was feeling very upset. I would highly recommend this company.
We had a full structural survey carried out on the house we intend to purchase and were very impressed . The report was very detailed, with some really good expert advice , not only on the condition of the property but also tips on future maintenance of the house. This company certainly adopts a very professional and efficient service for their customers.
A special mention to Natasha who dealt with our enquiries so promptly, who also has great customer service skills , she really was a pleasure to deal with.

Such a quick process booking our level 2 survey for our house purchase. I contacted Wyvern surveyors on the Monday, in which they called me to get booked in by Monday afternoon. They then managed to book it in for 2 days later - the Wednesday- and we had our survey results on Friday! 10/10 from Wyvern Surveyors. I will be recommending to everyone!

If accuracy and detail was an Olympic sport, Wyvern Surveyors wouldn't even qualify for the audience.
Having taken the initiative of avoiding the estate agents recommended surveyor and choosing Wyvern as my professional alternative, I rested the future of my life savings in their services.
They were very quick to fit me in, offering me a cancellation and were swift in providing a "copy and paste" survey report from a house that only bore some similarities to what I actually purchased.
Having now completed on the purchase I look back through the report to some humorous reading. I'll be honest, I'm not talking about the generic survey reports that detail "it MAY need this," "I could only conduct this due to furniture," "you MIGHT want to budget for..." etc. I'm talking about the fine details of "you're internal stop cock is located below the kitchen sink, and the external stop cock is in the pavement outside." Ok... let's be clear, the is NO stop cock below the sink, and there is NO pavement outside! Oh, should I mention the gaping holes in the roof between the property and the neighbours that wasn't picked up on?

Recently had a level 2 survey carried out by Steve. Very impressed with the detailed information written in layman’s terms, backed up with photographs in the report. It was sent within 48 hours of the survey and enabled me to make informed decisions about my purchase. A follow up query in response to Local Searches was dealt with extremely promptly and helpful advice given on how to proceed.
I am very impressed with the overall service from my initial telephone call through to completion of survey and further advice direct from Steve and I thoroughly recommend this company.

Steve and the Wyvern team provided excellent support. They were able to schedule an early Survey date and I received the report within a matter days, enabling me to address issues before going away myself for 10 days. The report was clear and thorough. I had the opportunity to discuss the report with Steve so I was clear what issues I should raise with the vendor and which I needed to be aware of and be prepared to action myself after purchase.
What really stood out for me though was the additional support Steve provided when I needed further advice following remedial action carried out by the vendor's contractor. Despite being on holiday and with limited internet access, Steve responded the same evening to my questions and video, enabling me to follow through quickly with the solicitor the following day.
